The Hydrogen Research Laboratory (HRLab) was established by Dr. Sean McGrady's research group in 2005 to accelerate and facilitate the development of advanced hydrogen storage materials. These materials could revolutionize energy storage and portable power technology by providing clean, safe, efficient and inexpensive alternatives to energy storage. We work closely with our indusrial partner, to not only develop, but commercialze hydrogen storage technology.
We are located in rooms 42 and 125 the Chemistry department at the University of New Brunswick (UNB). We are open to any and all collaborations, please contact the lab manager, Sandra Riley (sriley@unb.ca), to discuss equipment use. Our equipment is listed below:
Supercritical Fluid Station
TGA
Ball Mill
PCT
DSC
IR and Raman
XRD
