David Wolstenholme, PhD (Senior Research Scientist)
Dr. David J. Wolstenholme obtained his undergraduate and doctoral degrees at Dalhousie University (2000-2008), the latter under the supervision of Dr. T.S. Cameron. His PhD research involved an in depth investigation of the solid-state structure and bonding in molecular and ionic crystals through experimental and theoretical charge density studies. He was then awarded an Alexander von Humboldt fellowship to work as a post-doctoral researcher at the Universität Augsburg, Germany (2008-2010), where he explored the nature and driving forces for s-bonded transition metal complexes. Currently, he has returned to Canada to work in Dr. G.S. McGrady’s group at University of New Brunswick, which he is studying the chemistry of molecular and complex metal hydrides (hydrogen storage, polymer precursors, and coordination chemistry).

Sarah Ackermann, MSc (Graduate Student ChE)

Stephanie Richardson, MSc (Research Assistant)
I was born in Campbellton, NB and attended UNB Fredericton to obtain my Bachelor’s in Science - Chemistry. I continued on to obtain my masters in Inorganic Chemistry under the supervision of Dr. Jack Passmore and Dr. Sean McGrady at UNB. I graduated from my masters in 2013 and began working in Dr. Sean McGrady’s lab as a research assistant. Currently, I am working part time with Dr. Sean McGrady and full time as a chemist at a small company that produces natural soaps and creams called Olivier located in New Brunswick.
